I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good/reliable website that I could pay a monthly fee and get unlimited iPod downloads?

Your best bet is going to iTunes – if you’re gonna pay, .99/song is a pretty good deal, and you don’t have to worry about transcoding – that is copying the file to another format suitable for your iPod.
Limewire isn’s a website – it’s a network through which users trade music they have. It’s not lawful, and there’s no way to guarantee quality because the media is supplied by the users themselves.
Also watch out for offshore sites that sell music – they are not sanctioned by the copywright holder. You’re basically paying a pirate who got his stuff by Limewire, or (at best) ripping a CD, and then selling a hundred-thousand copies of the song.
