What Is The Diference Between The iPod Video 80G And The iPod Classic 80G?

I need to know what the differences are between the two iPod’s because I might get a new classic or I know someone selling the Video for 200$, over a year old but barely used.

The only real changes between the two are that the iPod Classic has an all-metal enclosure (looks different, won’t scratch as easily as the 5G’s polycarbonate front), and runs a newer version of the iPod’s OS that includes new features like Cover Flow and the split-screen menu design. As far as I know, the underlying hardware isn’t very different.

Not much
I think the newer one is a little smaller, but barely if it is.
For that extra 50 bucks you will be getting that 1 year warranty, though. It might be worth it to buy it new.
