No way. If i ever spend 300 bux on an ipod touch i am not getting that software update. I mean, I'll probably only use my touch for music and the internet, that's about it. I dont really need google maps, cuz i can use the safari web browser to look for directions FOR FREE and mail doesn't really seem that important.
