Is it possible to give the new ipod software update to people?

Can someone tell me where the 3.1 ipod software update is on the computer? (Mac) I would like to give the update to a friend so we can play with bluetooth apps (like finger foos).

    You need a license to do this, see 17 USC 106 (1), linked below. Your license will include instructions on how to do everything it permits you to do.
