    lol i just jailbroke my 32gb 2g ipod touch. It’s been fine with me, may go a bit slower because im storing apps on my touch then installing, but like slash said, if it does just recover the original 2.2.1 firmware, you can find how to place it into DFU/recovery on youtube.

    no offense but people like you piss me off…
    I have a 32gb 2nd gen too, and i jailbroke mine and it has never had any problems. You don’t just get games, you can get better settings, copy and paste, etc.
    And let’s just assume that you have the worst of luck and it freezes. No Apple support? Just put your ipod into DFU mode and restoring it to apple’s firmware? They can’t tell. If they did, jailbreaking isn’t illegal, Apple would just send it back. Then you just send it to another company.

    im really scared to jailbreak my itouch…..im afraid of it freezing and not having any support from apple…;( i have 32g and it cost to much to loose over games
