It won’t erase right away. It’ll recognize that it’s a different computer and ask if you want to erase. Read the pop up box that comes up very carefully, it’s poorly worded. If you then open up your iPod in My Computer, and drag the Music Folder into iTunes, it should copy all the songs into it. Otherwise do a little google search, there are programs that do it for you. remove i tunes from your new comp. and download idump(you can get it from download.com) and when you plug in your ipod run idump and get all the songs. then you save them to a folder on your comp, andthen download itunes and transfer the files to itunes

when your ipod is plugged into a new computer, itunes will ask you if you want to erase and sync with the new computer. just check no; so that itunes doesn’t erase all the music
2) get a free application that lets you copy your songs to itunes. you can get one from http://www.versiontracker.com. search for "ipod to itunes" and download a "freeware" application. make sure it isn’t shareware… they usually make you only upload a few songs from your ipod at a time or just open a couple of times.
K i hope this helped. if you can’t find the right application on versiontracker then you can always google it

You have to change the settings to iPod to Computer, rather than the other way around.
Kinda tricky, but, it’ll work.
