U can totally do that! Would you like me to explain how…?
    Well (assuming you said yes…LOL)

First thing you wanna do when you get your iPod or you can even do this now while you’re waiting is download the program iTunes to your computer. It’s free and it’s where all your iPod music is stored and where you access all the features such as what songs you may want to put on your iPod.
(Check out this site to download it now if you wanted to…)

Next, proceed to download your songs from limewire as usual. Try and figure out where the songs are being saved in your computer’s harddrive. For me my songs that I download are sent to a folder in "My Computer, Drive, Documents and Settings, New User’, and then in the final folder ‘Shared". Usually this is where your songs will be located if you use a file sharing source such as limewire.

Once you figure that out…you want to get those songs onto your iTunes music library. How you ask? =) Well…have that window open on your pc and then select the songs individually (double click). Make sure that iTunes is set as your default music player and the songs should play and be transferred directly there and stored in your library!

Once you get your iPod you can read it’s instruction manual on how to then take the songs from your library and put them on your iPod. Piece of cake!
I hope this helped and was easy to understand! Enjoy your iPod when you get it! They’re great! Good Luck

You can put almost any audio file format song on a iPod. You probably mostly have straight mp3 files. Just add these to your iTunes library and you’ll be able to add them to your iPod.
