open i tunes, click file in the upper left of itunes, go to add file to library, and add the songs from the cd folder. (make sure you unclick copy protected music in options)
make sure all the selections are checked, then just open the ipod folder and add. Its actually pretty simple. Convert your selections of songs into AAC by right clicking on the songs if they dont convert automatically. Any music you have on your computer will go into itunes with the "add file to library" link in the top left of Itunes..(under file) then update your ipod. remember to make sure the songs in the music library are checked when you update your ipod. when youre done moving the songs into the ipod uncheck the boxes in the music library (main) so everytime you plug in your nano it doesnt replace all the songs. Takes some time getting used to but once you have it down, its easy. the best way to find your music folders or songs to add is put them on your desktop so you know where they are. then you can delete them after they are on your ipod or you can move them somewhere else.

I think the easiest way to do that is to rip the CD using windows media player. then import them into itunes.
1.
this is done by clicking the rip tab in windows media player. check the boxes for the songs you want to record onto the computer.
2.
once its done right click on anyone of the files you just ripped. then click properties. NOTE to youself the location of the file.
3.
then go to itunes. under the file menu select add folder to library. select the folder containing the file(s) you ripped.
if this doesn’t work or takes too long to work… add the files one at a time
4.
good luck.
