I need instructions on how to import a movie on ipod nano 4GB?

i have tried many times to import the movie with an ipod video converter but when it downloads onto my ipod the movie has no sound even when i didnt have the converter. i dont know how to fix that? can you help me?

You need to make sure the original file has sound first. It may be one of two problems.
1. Your converter software is useless, in which case you need to change to another software.
2. Your ipod is set to ‘TV out’ mode, which lets you VIEW movies, but not hear them. So you have to switch the ‘TV OUT’ mode back to the original one.

go to itunes and go to my videos and make sure you have the video there and then go to the i pod and select videos and thats how i know you can put music there in the ipod

iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one.
