How to put a movie on iPod Touch?

I have the movie in my library, but how do I get it onto my iPod Touch? If i right click on ‘Movies’ underneath my iPod, it says sync, but when I click it it does not put my movies onto my iPod.

    check what file type it is. needs to be mp4
