How do you stop downloads from the iTunes app on an ipod touch?

I downloaded a show on my iPod from iTunes but i wanted to stop it. It was already in the downloads tab and still is but I don’t want to download it. I have paused it but it still keeps asking me for my apple ID to download it. How do I stop it so it won’t ask me to download it
Sliding my fing to get the delete option isn’t working

    slide your finger from left to right and you will get the delete option
