How do you import videos from your ipod nano into movie maker?

So i have the newer ipod nano, the one that takes videos. i have this big project where i had to film a bunch of stuff and so i filmed it with my ipod. I have all of the videos on my computer, but when i open up movie maker and click ‘Import Video’ and go to the folder where all of the videos i recorded are, they dont appear. i really REALLY need to get these on movie maker or some free video editing program. Oh, and i dont have a mac. so please please please!!!! help!

windows movie maker can import video files with avi, wmv, mpeg-1, or asf extensions, ipod mp4 video can’t be supported.
you should change ipod mp4 to windows movie maker supported movie types.

you know iPod can only play mp4 or h.264? make sure your video format is right first. you may need a ipod converter to help you. I’m using leawo free ipod converter.
