My computer crashed last week and I lost all of my itunes music, my ipod isn’t recognized on my computer right now either. I have a dell. What do I do?

You can use an ipod to computer transfer program to help.I personally use Cucusoft iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer Transfer.It helps me to transfer my songs/videos/photos from ipod to my computer directly and safely.It works well for me,you can give it a try.

If you’ve downloaded music through iTunes, you should be able to just log into your iTunes account and recover all of your music. If it’s music that you’ve ripped off of CDs, you’ll have to re-rip the CDs. If it is music you downloaded off of a P2P network, then you’ll have to re-download it.
You cannot transfer music from your iPod back to the computer, unless you have an iPhone or iPod touch that you purchased music from iTunes on, then it will transfer to your computer automatically when you sync.
My suggestion would be to go through your iPod and make a list of all the songs on it, and go through the recovery process I suggested above. Sorry it’s not going to be easier…
