Posted on 2010 under iPod FAQ | 13 Comments27 May
I have an iPod touch and I do not have my music on my new computer. My old computer that has some of my music on it is dead. I am trying to figure out how to put the music on my iPod onto my computer.

If your music are purchased on itunes. Just check "transfer purchase" when ur iPod connect to new computer(iTunes installed). Or you can try the iPod to computer transfer program.

I’m not 100% sure but maybe if you download itunes on your new computer then plug your ipod into your new computer with extension cable and it might work? You’ll have to choose a file etc

You Have To Either Put Them On A Jump-Drive Or CD And Then Import Them That Way. Or If All Of Your Music You Want Is On Your Ipod Simply Connect It To Your Computer And When It Gives You The Option To Delete Your Ipod Music, Click No.

Hello, I’d like to share my experience.
When I changed my computer, I used MediaWidget to move all library files from my iPod Touch onto my new computer http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/MediaWidget.htm
It can transfer all iPod content to the iTunes on your computer, including iPod music, movies, playlists, videos, podcasts, ratings, last played, and more. It’s such a powerful one that many friends around me have used it for a long time. Easy and safe.
Now all files are on your new computer and iTunes, you can sync your iPod with it smoothly without deleting any files.
Just free download it to try.
