How do i delete my itunes library without erasing songs in my ipod music?

My itunes library is a mess and i want to delete everything so i can add a folder with the music all organized. However i do not want any songs in my ipod to get deleted.

Just dont plug your ipod in. Songs on your ipod wont be deleted unless you manually delete them or it is set to automatically replace them.
