How do I combine my Ipod music to a new Itunes which already has music without deleting the music on my Ipod?

I already added my "purchased music" to the new Itunes library but the only way I can figure out how to sync my ipod and new itunes library is to erase all the music on my ipod and I DON’T want to do that.

there are programs such as "ephpod" (not sure if you can still download) that allow you to extract music from ipod to PC/ Itunes. After that you sync ipod to itunes and hey presto, you have all music on both ipod and itunes. Try looking on download.com for a similar software if it is unavailable. hope that helps.
