   mp4 doesnt work, ive tried a few but it iTunes says its not compitable

   You can only give it a try…I have only converted .avi to Mp4 for an ipod and it works fine…
   Maybe you could convert the file to mpeg or avi and then convert it back to mp4.

   Does this work if you use mp4 videos that don’t work on your itouch? For example I have an mp4 video but the itouch does not like it for some reason and won’t play. If I run it through this converter, will my itouch play these mp4s?

   I found a better way to either DOWNLOAD and STREAM over 8000 Movies and tons of TV Shows directly to your iPhone/iPod touch by searching Cydia for uWatch app by BigBoss repo or for (non jailbroken) go to uwatchapp,com from Safari browser and get the uWatch web app. Best part is there is NO Jailbreak required or computer. No other packages are needed. They got newest movies like Valentine’s Day, From Paris with Love, Dear John, Edge of Darkness, Legion, Avatar and Sherlock Holmes.
