Hey guys, I just jailbroke my ipod so im kind of new to this whole thing. I have a 2nd generation ipod and i need to update to the newest software (i believe its 4.2? correct me if im wrong). I have already tried updating the software, but it says an error has occured. Please help! thanks

I recently bought an ipod touch 2.1.1, and asked a friend if he would sync a movie to my ipod. Unfortunatly, he replied in telling me that all my data would be lost and I would have his data instead. So is there any way I can work around this?

i have a new pc. im about to download itunes, all my music and pics are on my ipod. i dont want to have to load up all my cd’s again to the itunes library. itunes sync your library to your ipod but can it work the other way?? my friend tried this and it didnt work wiping all his music from his pod, i dont want that to happen!!! thanks

My mom wants to put her ipod music on her new computer.
We dont have the old computer any more so i cant use that.

Ever since I updated my 8gb 3rd gen iPod touch it’s been running sooooo slow and crashing all the time! I wish I didn’t upgrade because it worked fine before but iTunes kept telling me to! Should I take it to apple? Or if i restore back to factory settings, will it give me the old software back?

how long can you rent a movie for? and after the time is finished what happens to the movie on your ipod?
