Can I still use the iPod Software Update loophole with iTunes 9?

I had planned on updating my iPod on iTunes 8.2, but I just updated iTunes so I don’t know if it’s still possible to do it.

    Of course it is. 3.x firmware is compatible with iTunes LP (9.0).
