		<description>Depends on the application, Most of the applications in the app store are only setup for english, in order for them to be in japanese the developers would have to also include localization files for the app for that language as well (which increases the bulk of the application size). 

Just like how some japanese or chinese applications (and there&#039;s a couple apparently), would only show that language if they don&#039;t have english translated information in their application even when loaded on an english device. 

But simply put make sure the iPod (I assume you&#039;re not talking bout an iPod Touch), is set to english when you set it up, and that your iTunes account is setup as English. </description>
